About me

Jacque WilsonI’m a writer and producer for CNN’s Health section. As a multimedia journalist for the site, I write stories and blog posts, take and edit photos, and plan in-depth interactive projects. I also manage our social media presence @CNNHealth.

I introduced live tweeting to CNN.com when I covered the 2009 Oscars in Los Angeles from the red carpet. I’ve written about light-hearted subjects like daily deal sites and America’s obsession with country music. I investigated child prostitution in Georgia, Obamacare’s potential impact on the justice system and mysterious tourist deaths in Asia.

I’ve had the opportunity to interview many interesting people during my time at CNN: Allison Janney, Chris Rock, Simon Cowell, Paul Rudd and Michael Cera to name a few. But the stories I enjoy writing the most are about people like Michelle, a cancer survivor who’s struggling with the long-term side effects of her treatment.

Please take the time to check out my resume and examples of my work. I was recently profiled as one of the top 30 people fighting childhood obesity in America.

If you have any story tips send them my way!
